Pizza Hut franchisee acquires 59 units in three states
NPC International, the world's largest Pizza Hut franchisee, has acquired 59 more units for $27.1 million, the company said. NPC purchased the assets of Pizza Hut of Idaho Inc., Rocky Mountain Pizza Huts Inc., Northwest Restaurant Group Inc. and Northern Idaho Pizza Huts Inc., operating locations in Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

I wonder who is happier the Zee who aquires 59 franchise locations doing 40+ million in sales for 27 million or the one who operates them for more than 30 years and then sales them for 27 million?

I have a feeling they are both pretty happy!  Now if that FRANCHISOR will just approve the DEAL!  I bet they do!OH, and I guess it can be said that Franchising worked out for both of these franchisees.  For anyone who wants to say they don't count....I say...they are just like Microsoft, Ford Motor Company or a whole slew of others....NOTHING MORE THAN SMALL BUSINESSES THAT WORKED!
