Meineke Parent Buys Rapid Service Centers

DrivenBrands Looking to Expand Aggressively West of the Mississippi 

DrivenBrands, the parent company of Meineke Car Care Centers and Econo Lube N' Tune, has purchased Rapid Service Centers and Master Auto Care. This includes 11 centers that are mainly around Wichita, Kansas, Oklahoma and Iowa.

According to the Wichita Eagle, John Vitagliano, DrivenBrands vice president for marketing, said regarding franchise expansion and chain acquisitions, "Everything west of the Mississippi shouts opportunity to us.".

"We obviously know quite a bit about auto repair and where that industry is going. We're looking for companies the quality of Rapid that will allow us to continue to expand."
