Think VOIP for Phone Cost Savings

Want to save money on business calls? Franchises might think about tapping into the new VOIP technology to lower costs.

With Skype, you can now call any US phone number for free until the end of 2006. You don't even need a PC. Netgear's Skype WiFi phone lets you make free Internet calls to anyone else in the world who has Skype.

There soon will be even more choices, with Yahoo Messenger, AIM, MSN Messager and Google all promoting different plans to let you make phone calls with VOIP technology.
