Business Blazing for Supercold Dippin' Dots

MSNBC features a story on franchisor Dippin' Dots and its inventor, Curt Jones. Dippin' Dots has seen growth of some 13,000% since its start in 1999. The small dots of ice cream treat are served at nearly 2,000 locations. Franchise Times ranked it as the fastest growing franchise chain for the past few years but it cannot be found in their Fast 55 for 2006.

"In March of last year, Franchise Times magazine listed Dippin’ Dots tops among its Fast 55, noting that the company’s franchise units had spiked 13,154 percent since 1999."
