Wendy's Found Not Guilty of E. Coli

A woman in Maine sued for more than $83,000 in damages from eating a Wendy's burger that she said sickened her with E. Coli bacteria. But medical records showed evidence that her illness was caused by a possible enzyme deficiency that may also have hospitalized her nine months earlier. After only 30 minutes of deliberation, the jury ruled in favor of Wendy's.
