Applebee's Appoints New Chief

Applebee's board has named current president and COO Dave Goebel to replace Lloyd Hill as CEO effective Sept. 5. Current CEO Lloyd Hill will remain chairman of the board. Hill announced in January that he would step down. [via BusinessWeek]
