Cousin Vinny's Strip Joint Loses to Subway

Cousin Vinny admits he isn't much for following Subway Sandwich rules

Remember our dear Cousin Vinny? Having once run a strip and escort service, Vinny is the Subway franchisee who had to close his store last year because his decor wasn’t up to franchise standards. He put sleezy posters up on the eatery’s walls.

After his franchise was summarily terminated, Vinny got even by reopening a sub shop by day that advertised it had a special value-added service of having strippers in the basement by night.

Subway sued.

After a year, what are the results of poor Cousin Vinny’s franchise rebellion?

Magistrate Frank Maas said Agnello -- who gained infamy after supplying the stripper for a wild high-school party in 2001 -- should pay the fast-food giant's corporate parent $90,000, plus another $7,900 for its legal fees.

Doctor's Associates Inc., which operates Subway, estimated Agnello took in about $23,000 in profits from the eatery last year. – NY Post

He’s a hundred thousand dollars poorer. Note what Cousin Vinny is now saying about why he started slinging subway sandwiches:

Agnello -- who last year told The Post he started slinging sandwiches because "the money in stripping isn't as profitable as it used to be" -- did not return calls.
