President Takes Daughter for Gulf Swim

Photo by White House, Pete Sousa

President Barack Obama takes his youngest daughter for a swim at Alligator Point in Panama City, Florida on Saturday. The trip with his family and swim is meant to encourage Americans to return to Gulf Coast beaches after the BP oil spill. The President listened to local business owners and officials.

Born and raised in Chicago and now Washington D.C., Natasha (Sasha) seems to be learning an appreciation for the ocean. Her father was born and raised in Hawaii.

BP gas station dealers (franchisees) have been impacted by a boycott from consumers and continuous news coverage of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
