Re: Aaron's Rents

Aaron's in Canada is out claiming that it will take $350,000 to get a store break even, when the reality is that it will take $800,000!! I am not quite sure how they can get away with this. There is not one franchise store that has become profitable for under $800,000 (not sure one has even become profitable yet). If you are in Canada and thinking about a franchise - think about this, of the first 8 Aaron's stores in Canada - 5 are in litigation (one was shut down, 4 were handed back to corporate in franchise foreclosures), 1 was sold out at a $500,000 loss, and two are 4 years old and still losing money with $850,000 invested a piece. The only people making money with Aaron's in Canada is Aaron's!
