American Wins Back Hot-Dog Eating Title

New World Record Set This July 4th of 66 HDBs

American Joey Chestnut retook the title as world hot dog eating champion on July 4th.  Chestnut inhaled 66 dogs, bun and all, before a screaming crowd at Nathan's Famous annual world contest at Coney Island. Nathan's famous is a large franchise chain of hot dog eateries.

Although recovering from pulled wisdom teeth, jaw arthritis, and acupuncture, six time consecutive champion Kobayashi had his best performance to date at 63 HDBs - hot dogs and buns. He came in second.
