And That's The Way It Is.
Many of us baby boomers and people of the greatest generation remember Walter Cronkite. I grew up with him. Uncle Walt was part of my life.
Fourty five years later I wonder what he would say about the world of franchising. He seemed to have old values and was called the most trusted journalist which gave him the name Uncle Walt.
We all thought that franchising was only for the very rich. If you owned a franchise you were of the elite.
I wonder would Uncle Walt report the truth in franchising or would he ignore it like the media of today? He retired over twenty years ago. Franchising was around then. Were people getting fleeced like today? I am sure they were. No one hears about it. Why? Maybe Uncle Solomon can fill us in.
The public does not get the news that would make people think twice before going the franchising route. Why do you suppose they don't?
BMM is the only place where I have found the truth.
