Anyone know anything about the "As Seen in Motels" Franchise? There's not too much I can find except the article posted at this site.

Dangerous Statement

The part of the press release that sounds very worrisome and frankly illegal is the promise of earnings. I'm talking about this statement --

According to CEO Flesh, “AS SEEN IN MOTELS” will be the first and only franchise concept that yields close to 100% profit."

I guess he is using the old sales spin to emphasize that the hotel shampoos and products are somehow free. That's great, but there still is shipping costs, rent, SG&A, royalties, marketing costs, etc. Ain't no way there is close to 100% profit, even if it were just a stand on the side of the road.

Anyone else know anything?

 I'm sure Juan F. believes that 100% profitability is not attainable, and he is correct when speaking of normal businesses.  However,  my franchises and business opportunities, many of which can be operated from home, shelter or even prison cell, provide profits in the thousands of %... guaranteed.

ShapeXpress Horror Story

Does anyone know anything about this franchise.  They are great at selling the franchise but sad at servicing it.  They even opened a high end women's fitness center in direct competition with their existing franchises.  Rumor mill has it that they have abandoned the women's fitness franchise to sell sandwich shop and motorcycle shop franchises.  Sounds like they have a cash flow problem.  They are based in Tulsa, OKlahoma.  Has anyone had similar experiences?????   I've lost my life savings, how about you?
