Blue MauMau Turns Three

BMM Banner

Dear Member,

This month marks three years of the Blue MauMau community. We were the first to experiment with social media in the industry. We did this to gather real information from the front lines rather than the puffery that was typically reported. Because of our publishing model, we have been able to get the inside scoop on many franchise concepts that other journals couldn't report, didn't report or were afraid to report for fear that a sponsor or potential sponsor might be upset.

There is a weakness in our model. Without readers like you sharing news and information, there is little news on Blue MauMau. This is something that you can easily help the community and to help yourself in being better informed on franchise issues. Post a short summary from a news story that you find the most interesting from among other newspapers and magazines. Paste a quote (not the entire article) of what you find the most interesting and a link to the original article.

You can share interesting news clips by logging in, then placing your cursor on (but don't click) "Share Info!" on the masthead (see right arrow above). The row below "Share Info!" will then change to show all the different types of franchise information content that registered members can contribute. Next, look below and to the left to find "Blog the News" and click that to submit a news clipping of an interesting story you've found. The more who contribute the merrier—and the better informed we will all be.

You can also help spread the word. Please share with colleagues and franchise owners the value of this site. You can do so by clicking the “Email this page” at the bottom of an article that you think your colleagues and friends might find of interest.
