Boroian Released from Duluth Federal Prison Camp

Stays In Half-Way House, Expected to Work

Donald Boroian, founder of Francorp, Inc., Olympia Fields, Ill., has now been released from the Duluth Federal Prison Camp in Minnesota. He was serving a one-year, one-day sentence for federal tax evasion. According to Duluth prison records and verified by a staff person, his projected release date is July 13, 2007, but his location is now at the Chicago Community Corrections Management facility. CCMs act as local liaisons, or half-way houses, with the federal courts, to provide assistance to inmates who are nearing release. According to court documents, Boroian is required to submit to a supervised release of two years after serving his sentence, which commenced on July 27, 2006.

The Community Corrections policy on employment states that all inmates are expected to be employed 40 hours a week within 15 calendar days of their arrival. According to sources, Boroian will once again take the helm of his 30-year-old franchise development company.

Saw Boroian and Francorp at NRA Show

He looks as if prison has taken its toll on him. Lost a lot of hair and what little he has left has gone gray. I expect this whole thing is weighing on him quite heavily.
