Meeting in Brisbane Australia, a team of psychologists hope to determine what makes a good franchisee successful and what makes a bad franchisee bad for business.
The study which its said could involve over 1000 franchisees will examine factors impacting on satisfaction and performance such as brand passion, a tendency towards conflict and different types of motivation. It is hoped study findings will offer ways to ‘minimise the destructive impact of franchisee failure and relationship breakdowns.’
Australian, New Zealand, Canadian and US franchise systems promised to turn up.
