Growing up in Miami, there was a time that these stores became non-existent. Sometime again in the 90's they reappeared and yes, they were really nice and became the most popular gas/convenience stores on Miami Beach. Go Slurpee!

I wonder if it was these company owned stores that made the difference and I hope the new franchisees keep up the quality assurance that helped the chain to make the great comeback.
