This past year has been a harrowing experience for me. I was looking at my library of books when I found one of my favorites, "How to Win Friends & Influence people.
Chapter 1: If you want to gather honey don't kick over the Bee Hive.
I found it interesting that several men we would call "bad" like Al Capone who was known as public enemy # 1 claimed, : I have spent the best years of my life giving people the lighter pleasures, helping them have a good time, and all I get is abuse, the existence of a hunted man." He was the most sinister gang leader whoever shot up Chicago. Capone didn't condemn himself. He regarded himself as a benefactor- unappreciated and misunderstood public benefactor.
Could it be that many of the "bad zors" really believe their doing their zee's a favor? Is that why they blame their zee's for their failure?
Could it be that positive thinking is the zee's down fall?
Principle 1. Don't criticize, condemn or complain.
Is the market place that bad that we need to be critical to protect ourselves?
Because of the economy
I have decided to write some good things from Dale Carnegie's book, "How to Win Friends & Influence People. I believe our country is resilient. We will bounce back and flourish again. This book was written during the "Great Depression." Hopefully it will help people look at hard times as a stepping stone to better times. Hard times always make people appreciate when times are good.Post new comment
