Darrell Lea Goes Under
After 85 years in business, the iconic Australian chocolate manufacturer has been placed in voluntary administration. The news of the demise of the family owned business has left both staff and franchisees in shock.
Darrell Lea operates in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
Insolvency firm PPB Advisory have confirmed it hopes to sell the business as a going concern and that the business will continue to operate as normal while it attempts to find a buyers.
The owners of the business have agreed to provide some short term financial support whilst we undertake this process.
