Denver McDonald's Franchisee Pays $58,227 in Back Wages
Boselli Investments LLC, owner of 16 McDonald's restaurants in the Denver area, has paid $58,227 in back wages to 1,258 employees, according to reporter Howard Pankratz of The Denver Post. That would average $46.29 per employee.
The investigation found that the franchisee, Boselli Investments LLC, made illegal deductions from employees' paychecks for work uniforms and did not pay employees for all hours worked, resulting in wages falling below the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.
Investigators also found Boselli violated child-labor provisions by allowing 16-year-olds to operate motor vehicles as part of their employment and by allowing minors to operate power-driven trash compactors. (Denver Post)
Tony Boselli is the owner of the restaurants. Is he the father of former NFL star Tony Boselli?
