CHICAGO — 61 percent of consumers now order soup at least occasionally during restaurant visits, according to national foodservice researcher Technomic Inc.
CHICAGO – Families with children are returning to restaurants after a long recess, says a consumer research group. Visits by customers accompanied by children increased one percent for June, July and August of this year compared to a year ago.
With multiple volleys back and forth recently between Denny’s Corporate and the dissident shareholder group, the Committee to Improve Denny’s; the Denny’s Franchisee Association weighed in last week.
Despite press releases in the papers saying the contrary, this bird is hearing major rumblings of discontent with Denny’s franchisees who are not happy with its CEO, Nelson Marchioli, and the direction of the chain.
