In the late 1920's the stock market was soaring, businesses were enjoying record profits and developers were constructing new buildings at a rapid pace. Mortgage companies began offering mortgage-backed securities, a new type of investment.
In my career, I have attended probably several hundred professional conferences and meetings. Some of these were local or state hospitality associations, many were brand related and others were for specialized development for my team or myself.

In our ongoing work with literally hundreds of hotel owners and general managers each year in training sessions and in one on one discussion, it is apparent that there is a challenge and struggle to balance strategies to meet both short and long goals.
