South Australian MP Tony Piccolo has tabled the proposed Franchising (South Australia) Bill 2009 in the absence of an effective response by the Federal Government to numerous franchising Inquiries.

SYDNEY, Australia - Budding franchisors investigating what is involved in establishing a franchise system confront numerous and quite onerous tasks that can cost an "arm and a leg".
BRISBANE - A Queensland Member of Parliament, DAVID GIBSON (Gympie-LNP), has called for the introduction of state franchisee protection.
"Griffith University created the Asia-Pacific Centre for Franchising Excellence to give you access to independent franchise information, education and research to help increase the profitability of your franchise and help the franchise sector grow."
