Entrepreneurial Seniors: Their Time Has Come

Contrary to common perception, seniors these days are more entrepreneurial than those in the younger age brackets. BusinessWeek has some  interesting stories and information on today's older entrepreneurs.

In many cases, but certainly not all, the senior entrepreneurial spirit comes from the difficulty they tend to have in finding work and the effect the economy has had on their pension funds.

Scott Shane, professor of entrepreneurial studies at Case Western Reserve University, whom we've seen on Blue MauMau's pages, throws some additional light on the phenomenon for us.
