Fairmont Hotels Offers E-Readers to Guests
With e-reader sales thriving, and 41 percent of iPad owners saying they prefer e-books to hard copy, hotels have started offering e-readers and e-books to their guests. Kobo says that 10 Fairmont Hotels & Resorts locations now make its Kobo eReader available to its President's Club members (no charge to belong). Guests can choose from thousands of books for free. E-books are offered by other hotels and an iPad system for airlines has been announced by an inflight entertainment company.
