So here we have it; The Five Week Franchise Research Plan, the ‘KISS’ principle to researching a franchise investment - Keep It ... Simple Sucker.
This is an example of the marketing to a specific target market that concerns me. The gullible, naive and the lazy. This is an example of the 'education' mostly available to prospective franchisees.
If a franchisee signs a contract on the basis of this type of information they deserve what they get. But obviously those that do are a worthwhile market for ‘consultants’, brokers and franchisors.
Does anyone understand why so many do the serious research after they sign a contract and find themselves in trouble?
