Can a franchisor  require renewal documents be signed before providing the franchisee with a current FDD?  Are any documents signed before the receipt of an FDD even legal?  This franchisor is demanding signed commitments to renew 6 months prior to the expiration date.  There has been no mention of an FDD.  I'm suspicious.
