The Franchisor Support Alliance
Could it be that the Franchise Council of Australia has some competition looking for a chunk of the franchisor dollar? At least FSA seems to be driven around delivering some bang for the franchisor buck.
FSA launched it's networking alliance in Sydney recently with plans to have it's franchisor driven groups develop and expand to other states.
The FSA was founded by Think Franchise lawyer Steven Clare, Franchise Systems Group director Bill Locket, franchisor advisor David Ciantar of Solution Consulting, and WA based Darryl Morris, director of LTM Risk Partners & National Franchise Insurance Brokers. Franchising.net.au
I can still hear one franchisor telling me he felt thet he recieved zero value out of the FCA and he stopped attending functions because he always felt he had to keep his hand on his wallet.
This Alliance is long overdue and we can only hope that this initiative has franchisors focused on developing better franchising standards and protecting the franchising brand.
