Free Trial. All a firm needs to begin a free trial of Frantrak is access to the internet, a browser, and word processing software. Any firm can be set up and begin testing the service within minutes. To start your free-trial, log onto your Frantrak free trial account (we can help you do this during a 10 minute web demo over the phone). When you set up each matter you:
(1) identify which states you are going to sell a franchise in, (2) enter the “Fiscal Year End” preceding the next expiration deadlines, (3) enter the most recent “effective dates”, and (4) record the status of franchise filings such as the “dates documents were sent to or received from clients and states”
Frantrak then generates a deadline chart from our system for you to review and compare to your internally generated deadlines. Users can set up as many matters as they would like during a two-week free trial period. After the free trial period expires, users can choose to purchase the service and start passing the fee through to their clients, or they can walk away.
Pricing - Greater of an annual rate of $45/matter or minimum of $299/month. Frantrak offers a win-win business model for attorneys and franchisors. Attorneys can provide accurate deadline and milestone information in an efficient and methodical manner while passing the annual $45 per matter fee through to their franchisor clients, subject to a minimum payment of $ 299 per month. Law firms that currently pass through courier services or copying fees typically pass through this nominal per matter fee to their clients.
The Internet turns business management software into a utility! You turn software on and off, just like a faucet. Franchises all needed a tool to use to manage the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). The FDD is a document required by the Securities Exchange Commission. Many states have their own rules, and different filing requirements. It is nearly impossible to keep on top of it without spending a fortune in legal fees; enter Harold Kestenbaum, The Franchise Guru. Harold has had a long career within the International Franchise Community. He is considered one of the leading legal authorities on Franchise Law.
The recession is a perfect time to buy a franchise, and for franchisors to cut costs. Frantrak can be used by attorneys who represent franchises or by the franchisors internally. Large franchisors like Proctor and Gamble usually have their own legal departments. Franchise is considered a recession proof industry. It is a perfect time to export American Business Globally, or to help bring new international franchise to the USA. Foreign franchisors are more likely to invest in the USA because Frantrak will navigate the difficult FDD process for them. We as Americans, want to import Jobs, and export ideas for profit.
FranTrak is developed, coded, in Denver, Colorado and hosted in the USA. Considering the global economic climate, Jane believes Corporate America will begin to reconsider outsourcing technology to other countries. We can no longer afford to outsource the support of our institutional knowledge to other countries unless we put legislation in place and a system of inspection that assures that if the outsource business says they have 160 employees working around the clock to support you; in reality there are not 6 guys in pajamas working around-the-clock, being paid $7000 a year to do what American’s are well paid to do for $60,000.
If your Outsource IT Company refuses to disclose the technology infrastructure supporting your data, question it.” said Moore. “Likely you have an infrastructure like a Ferrari, and his is like a Donkey, of course he isn’t going to disclose.” A site visit is one way to assure yourself that you are working with a reputable IT firm. Don't just go to the corporate office, ask to see the data farm, physical and network security. Large Corporations know the folly and risk of cheap technical infrastructure and support. The upfront savings is not worth the risk of losing your entire data store. Frantak, provides an affordable, safe, secure alternative for Franchisors, and Franchise Attorneys. Frantrak relieves the legal community of manually tracking hundreds of FDD filing dates, and keep the costs down for their clients. For more information contact Jane Moore (202)241-4206
