Many might call these get rich quick schemes meant to part you and your money but fast. Others might say these are on the fast track to your wildest dreams. At any rate, here are the franchises that promise easy money and fast.
PuckMasters Hockey Training Center
This franchise concept comes from Canada, a country in love with hockey. Introducing PuckMasters, the franchise that trains little puckers the art of body checking.
The video is largely a testimonial from a franchise owner. Franchising firms like to use testimonials to sell franchises. It lets buyers know that there are people like them who love the franchise. Fair enough. But the question always remains: Why is the franchisee giving this testimonial for his franchisor? What's in it for him to say good things? And exactly what good things is he saying? In this case, I'm not sure.
"My goal in life was never to have a real job," the franchisee states. He also answers how much has been the highest he's ever made in a day -- "Six to seven thousand."
That's nice. Let's hope he didn't spend fifty thousand to make his seven.

The franchise owner-operator concludes, "Other than playing an NHL game, there's nothing else that I'd rather be doing [than being a PuckMaster franchisee].

This "license" may in fact be an "unintentional or disguised franchise" and in addition since you get to participate in profits on the sale of licensor (liquidity event) it may be in violation securities laws as well.Post new comment
