HMSHost Corporation, an operator of hospitality services and retailing in some 100 airports around the world, has announced the signing of an agreement to develop three Quiznos restaurants in India by 2010. Quiznos has some 5,000 quick service restaurants known best for thier toasted subway sandwiches.

Vince Modica, Senior Vice President Concepts and Standards of HMSHost stated, "HMSHost operates 50 Quiznos restaurants in North America currently and as a result, we know that a high-quality, freshly toasted product is what travelers worldwide want to find in airport dining choices."

Rob Streett, Vice President of Non Traditional Development for Quiznos. commented, "The HMSHost agreement also supports our ability to accelerate growth in our international business by providing a strong platform to continue expansion throughout the Asia Pacific Rim."

The chain has been plagued by a number of lawsuits from angry franchise owners.

Comment: For purposes of national security, why can't Quiznos sell franchises to the Pakistanis or Afghans?? I mean, why irritate the Indians? The Indian folks are some of the few people in the world who have not been antagonized by the Bush administration. And now we're about to turn them against us.

And in India they believe in reincarnation.
