Hooters To Get Bigger In Aus

Hooters have been around for a while in Australia but strong competition from locals kept development flat.

Now Hooters plan to pursue major growth to 5 times current size.

The expansion will be Australia-wide and will involve opening 10 new Hooters outlets in major cities - one every six months - after which the franchise will start focusing on opening smaller stores as part of its efforts to maintain its local neighbourhood restaurant image.  Franchise.net.au

Hooters at Mermaid Beach haven’t gained that much interest. On Australia’s Gold Coast you can get a good steak almost anywhere.
