Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but Jamba Juice is reacting to McDonald's incursion into its traditional territory by taking strong countermeasures. It announced Monday that it would honor McDonald's Real Fruit Smoothie coupons with the same discount on its own smoothies through August 15. The company is also offering a $1 off downloadable coupon.

The coupon deals follow on the heels of a YouTube video that Jamba released last month featuring a fictitious cheeseburger chill smoothie. The clip pokes a little fun at McDonald's for venturing away from its customary menu.
