Jameson Brand Wins "Best Economy Hotel" for 2012

The Jameson brand, owned by America’s Best Franchising, has been named “Best Economy Hotel” for 2012 by the prestigious Market Metrix Hospitality Index®, which uses 35,000 customer interviews to serve as the largest and most in-depth measure of hotel, car rental, and airline performance.

“Jameson is well-known by both hoteliers and travelers as a quality brand that consistently exceeds guest expectations,” explains Doug Collins, Chairman and CEO of America’s Best Franchising.

“Now we want hotel owners to have the opportunity to directly benefit from and build on the brand’s public popularity,” added Collins in explaining his decision to offer Jameson brand franchises for the first time ever.

Jameson was acquired in December by America’s Best Franchising and became the fifth brand in the company’s portfolio, joining the upscale 3 Palms brand for independent hotels and the three upper economy brands of America’s Best Inns & Suites, Budgetel Inns & Suites, and Country Hearth Inns & Suites.

Atlanta-based America’s Best Franchising operates almost 300 properties, primarily in the United States and also in China, Canada, India, Nigeria, and Belize.
