The Franchise Owner's most trusted news source
One of the most controversial franchisors is touting its prominence within the industry trade association.
Jani-King says that it hosted the IFA "Emerging Franchise Roundtable" last week. In a press release, the company stated:
Due to his prominent status with the IFA and experience in franchising, [Jani-King President] Crawford was asked to moderate the event in downtown Dallas as well as host a group of CEOs at Jani-King's world headquarters in Addison, TX.
It seems like just a few months ago, Jani-King was one of the featured companies in a Franchise Times story about the shady practices of janitorial franchises, in which Jani-King VP Don Burleson boasted; "We’ve been doing the same thing for decades."
As to what Jani-King and its ilk are "emerging" from... well, that is too easy a set-up line...
