Judge Bans Allphones from Threatening Franchisees

Interesting that this franchisor was so crude as to get caught.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has won initial orders in the Federal Court against mobile telephones retailing franchise group Allphones. It is alleged it used improper pressure to make franchisees move to new agreements, by threatening to withhold inventory. The old deals had been ruled to be deceptive, and compensation is being pursued by some franchisees.
