KFC Zee Forks Over $148k in Overtime Pay

The U.S. Department of Labor revealed last week Thursday that it has required a franchisee to fork out $148,493 to pay managers at 26 outlets for overtime work.

Weaver Enterprises Ltd. failed to pay nonexempt managers the required weekly salary of $455, and should have been paying them 11/2 times their regular rates of pay for hours worked exceeding 40 a week.
