Krispy Kreme To Sell Franchisees in All 50 States
Doughnut Chain Says It Has Filed Franchise Disclosure Document to Sell Franchisees in All 50 States After Bringing Its Financials Current
SALEM, N.C. (Blue MauMau) - Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. announced that its Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC) has been submitted for review by the states in which registration is required. Krispy Kreme expects to be able to offer franchises in all 50 states. The firm has struggled in the past few years with a number of its franchisees going bankrupt, delayed financials, and investigations into its accounting practices.
"Krispy Kreme is able to file this document because it has become current with its audited financial statements," said Daryl Brewster, President and Chief Executive Officer of Krispy Kreme. "This is another step in the turnaround of Krispy Kreme."
