PERTH Western Australia: I received this email earlier today from an ex-Lenards franchisee.

'Hi Ray, thought you may be interested in this article from theWest. 

Ray the last statement took me by shock to say the least.  I'm now thinking that I could have been on the list after Heijne waved a knife at me during a meeting with him, Frank Ciancosi [murdered] and the Lenards Directors.  I thought he was just being a smart arse and trying to intimidate me - but one has to wonder what his real intentions were - It's a bit scary and perhaps I'm lucky I walked away from the store!'

 "Mr Fiannaca also told the court that on January 4 Mr Heijne confessed to being responsible for the death to another Lenard's chicken employee"
