"Valentines at Waffle House is becoming ‘the reservation’ to get for the truly romantic couples," says the Georgia-based franchisor.

After customer traffic tripled at Waffle House restaurants offering the promotion in 2008, the chain expanded the offer; about 40 of the restaurants now offer the Valentine's Day dinner. Waffle-craving Cupids turn out to be relatively big spenders, with most treating their True Love to steak and chops.

As with any fine dining establishment, reservations are a must.
