Madoff victims want the government to give their money back

I just saw an hour news story on Fox News about the Madoff ponzi scheme.

There were several victims of this scam and I have to say there are similiarities of what they say with victims of franchise fraud.  "I lost everything."  "I have to start all over." " We were lied to." "This is a tragedy. " Now the victims want the government to step in and pay them back.  Will this happen because many of the victims were extremely wealthy?

The victims claim that they were paying taxes for gains that were not real.  Some were paying taxes on false gains for 25 years.

The government has bailed out the banks and auto industry even after bad business practices.

We all know about victims of franchise fraud.  Do you think victims of franchise fraud should be bailed out too?  "I have lost everything. "I have to start all over." "We were lied to."  "This is a tragedy."  Because we are not of the elite I don't think we will have the luxury of a government bailout.

I do believe the government needs to look closely at the franchise world and decide for themselves if changes need to be done.
