McD Franchisee Says Angus Burger Rolls Out This Summer

McDonald's says that it won't speculate about a leaked report of a one-third pound Angus burger rolling out this Fall. But ask franchisees and they'll be frank about their burgers. Well, one franchisee in particular. Says a McD franchisee who withholds his name:

"I don't know exactly when, but I believe it is in the summer time frame," he said.

Another franchisee, who is willing to be named, says the Angus burgers are great.

 . . . Irwin Kruger, a McDonald's franchisee in New York City, has been selling the Angus burger since August 2007 and said it has "been very well received" by customers. "From an operations standpoint, it has been successful," said Kruger, who owns four McDonald's restaurants. - Chicago Tribune
