NASAA or North American Securities Administrators Association is a consortium of state and provincial security administrators who set guildelines requiring franchisors to provide specific information about themselves. This format became known as the UFOC or Uniform Franchise Offering Circular.
The Federal Trade Commission accepts NASAA's more stringent UFOC format in lieu of its more lenient Franchise Rule disclosure format.
