But we've known for some time restaurants faced a comps cliff in December-February, compared to the surge of customers seen last year. Analytically, we have to migrate to 2 year and even 5 year comps views versus the limited view of a simple year to year movement.
Restaurant sales and traffic are slowing month to month, particularly in the casual dining segment. But all restaurant segments had positive sales on a two-year comps view basis.
