Heather Elrod Rose SKIN PHD

Lots of post here concerning Ms. Elrod or Ms.Rose. Just check the postings for SONA and that should explain the rash of postings here. I have previous experience with this group from the SD days (pre UPS). If I remember correctly her sister (Holly Harmon) was a waitress going to Real Estate school but now I see that she has entered the Spa business as a Director of a company. Do your homework and read the postings available to give you some insights prior to entering any business realtionship. Exercise caution as you would with any new oppurtunity. I wonder if old man Amos is involved in this new venture? As indicated in the post that is tagged above you will for sure hear about Christian values and maybe even get some kind of pin in the shape of a bird.

How many names does Ms. Rose have. I count at least 4. I guess thei chrisian faith allows multiple divorces. I know its amos, rose, elrod I cant keep track of em. Are there more.

Some Fool

"Local investment banker Aaron Webster owns the new location and the Tasti D-Lite franchise rights for South Texas; he plans to open at least 40 units throughout Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Galveston over the next 10 years."

Not a relation,  I assure you.

Some fool - maybe the same fool - bought the rights to

Houston. Hopefully he is someone with a rich daddy and it doesn't matter,

New Dallas Tasti D-Lite Closes

A Dallas Tasti D-Lite in Snider Plaza, Dallas is reported by an eye witness as just having closed down. That's not very long after this brand new ice cream chain has started to franchise outside New York.

Notice the For Lease sign on the windows in the photo taken early this morning. The Tasti D-Lite sign looks very clean and new.

My guess is that there are many more closures of new stores coming down the pipes. Stay tuned.

You know what P T Barnum Said

And Amos is just happy that one is born every minute and he only needs one a day to keep his "dream" afloat! Pretty good odds for the scoundrels.

Oh, yes, every minute of every day, a woman in the United States gives birth to a "sucker". Let's find that woman and stop her!

I am a Christian

I will not use my faith to get business.  If I do not walk the talk than forget it.  I get very upset when people play the role of goody Christian person in business.  We are all just people.  We all blow it.

Amos and Heather Rose in my opinion should be ashamed of themselves.  I guess they do not know that their Lord is watching.  They have hurt many people.  I would love to talk to Amos and Heather Rose.  Shame on them for using the Lord for financial gain.  In the meantime they have conned so many people.  Using Christ for a conn is so easily done.  I have seen it too often in business.

Thank You, Michael

I am no Sinclair Lewis, to be sure. However, I commend you for standing tall in calling Amos and his cronies to accountability. He and they comprise a malignant group who have preyed upon franchisees for decades, in several settings. It is amazing he has succeeded to any degree, but it looks like the walls are at long last closing in.

Tasti-D-Titanic

All the negative comments about Amos and his daughter are dead-on. Low-lifes, exploiters, arrogant, insincere, dishonest, double-standards, no integrity, liars...on and on. They richly deserve all the negative coming down upon them and history has judged them both rightly.

Tasti-D-Liters were forewarned by many. I assume you've booked your own first-class berth on the Tasti-D-Titanic.

Bon voyage, young zealot. We're praying for you and waiting for the legal action to follow in the bow-wake, as always.

Dear Brian

Brian writes: "In your book Jim Amos may be Elmer Gantry, but let me point out that you, sir, are no Sinclair Lewis. For you, why tell a story when a label will do?

I don't know what your beef is with Ms. Elrod, but she is off to newer franchise concepts to muddle through. It might make interesting reading, but not here. After all, she has nothing to do with Tasti D-Lite."

Hmm, Brian thinks that franchising needs an expose, similar to what Sinclair Lewis did for the meat packing industry circa 1910.

Couldn't agree more.

Jim Amos and Heather Rose would make a great intro.

The poor schmucks that bought into the Jim Amos story for Tasti have about 2 to 3 years before they realize how badly they were taken.

But heck, we all predicted it.

You are no Sinclair Lewis

If you don't have anything new about the business of Tasti D-Lite then don't bore us.

In your book Jim Amos may be Elmer Gantry, but let me point out that you, sir, are no Sinclair Lewis. For you, why tell a story when a label will do?

Know Them Both Well

All the negative comments about Amos and his daughter are dead-on. Low-lifes, exploiters, arrogant, insincere, dishonest, double-standards, no integrity, liars...on and on. They richly deserve all the negative coming down upon them.

"Here - Here", Ms. Jorgensen!!!

Ms. Jorgensen is spot-on with her comments about Amos and his daughter, now, Heather Rose ( Now, ELROD). Amos has for years used his pious form of Christianity in an attempt to boost his credibility and to deflect his demonstrated lack of integrity and his demonstrated track record of greed and self-interest, in the extreme. He is a modern-day Elmer Gantry...a fraud. His daughter is as phony as he is. They've both done a great deal of damage to unsuspecting victims in the world of franchising.

What Would Jesus Say?

I'd like to think that in terms of Amos and his clan, He'd say "Stone the creeps"!

Client No. 9

In fairness to DoDil, we need to remember that there is a history of public piety in franchise fora by this particular man.

As such, he can't complain about being judged by those professed values. I am reminded of Richard Solomon when the Spuds To Go franchisor threatened to sue him and said that he was going to post an expose on Solomon; Solomon admitted to being every bit as bad as SpuddiePie claimed and then some.

Solomon doubts that St. Peter will call his name , but Jim Amos rules his world knowing with certainty that St. Peter has Jimbo at the top of the list. My guess is that their respective viewpoints inform their actions, and a theologian might hazard that both Solomon and Amos will be proved wrong (..to the chagrin of both, LoL).

Mr. Amos would take a lot less flak if he either were less of a bible-thumping showoff or in the alternative, if he did not accumulate the Brice/Sona/UPS-MBE record that he has.

Hypocrisy Part ll

I KNOW BOTH OF THEM.....AND I SAY RUN RUN RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN..THATS RIGHT I'VE DEALT WITH BOTH PIECES....

Hypocrisy?

If you don't personally know Jim Amos and Heather Rose, or have first hand knowledge that entitles you to judge them, I wonder if it's appropriate for you to be casting stones at them? Since you also speak of Jesus in your attack, what would Jesus say?

Of course it will be wonderful.  I liked the UPS trade dress, too.

And let me guess: it was "free" to all those who signed the franchise agreement on or before April 1st, 2008.

Your humor is never ending

Fruits is the type of person they are. In the case of Amos and Heather Rose, they are indeed using their faith as a way to gain financially they are not good people. Their lives show no Christian values. According to the Bible they are like bad apples, rotten to the core.

Many stories Jesus preached to the crowds were in parables. The saying you know Christians by their fruits. It means the way they are.

I hate to say this to Amos

The Bible says we will know Christians by their fruits.. Their lives will show if they are indeed Christians.

Amos and Heather Rose you are giving Christians a bad name. From all the bad stories about you, stop using Christianity as a way to conn people. Leave your faith out of your business dealings. You have a bad name already. Don't give Jesus a bad name.

I saw the new Tast-D exterior in Manhattan (Lexington Ave btwn 85 & 86 Streets) and it is eye-catching. If I can find my camera cable I'll post a shot.

Amos is so predictable

Of course the first part of the plan is to remodel 35 stores. This will put $500,000 to $1,000,000 million into the hands of Tasti D-Lite contractors (all under the control of Amos) of which he will keep thru kickbacks etc several hundred thousand dollars.

Next will come increased costs for a higher quality product, more dollars for Amos.

And on and on it goes ...

How dumb can these people be?

I guess the only explanation is

There will always those that will want to believe, and the Amos's of the world will exploit that fact.

I cannot believe with all the information out there concerning the famous Amos people are still willing to jump off the cliff. What in the hell is it going to take to stop this SOB.

Amos in Korea

Amos also announced a Tasti master franchise in South Korea. Man, if you think the Koreans hated Americans before, this will likely be the impetus for the full US expulsion from Korea in 18 months or so.
