NPR Visits Franchise Expo

NPR's Weekend Edition, May 8, 2004 · National Public Radio's Laura Sydell reports via audio-streaming on a national convention held in Washington, D.C., this week for people who own franchise businesses, or are hoping to. Susan Kezios, president of the American Franchisee Association is briefly interviewed.

NPR states, "There are more than 750,000 franchises in the United States, but there are no statistics on how many go out of business each year."
