SPOOFINGTON - After thousands of complaints from victims of franchising, Obama addressed the nation with a speech of deep concern after reading horror stories on the Internet.

"The scamming of thousands  needs to stop!" demanded Obama. "Our country has to stop all bankruptcies due to unethical business behavior.  Turning and churning of franchisees in our country is an epidemic. Fraud is out of control. It is a disgrace to our country and our citizens need to be able to clearly understand all contracts.  The citizens of our great country should never have to ultimately pay for all the bankruptcies caused by these preditators. People we are a franchise country. People need to feel safe doing business.  Our country will not flourish if we do not change things. I promised change and I believe franchising is a good place to start.  If we allow unethical business practices  our country will not  prosper. The  Golden Rule should be followed in all sectors of business."

"Franchising needs to be regulated so scammers cannot hurt our citizens. I understand  rogue franchising is a problem all over the world.  I plan to go to the United Nations and address this problem."

"I promised change.  Change will be a reality and I will fight for it."

This is the first any president has ever addressed the problems in franchising.  Time will tell if this becomes a reality.
