Review of FTC Complaint Data and Law Enforcement of Franchisers, 1993 - 2000

The Bureau of Consumer Protection in June 2001 created a report that analyzes the Federal Trade Commission’s franchise and business opportunity program from 1993 through 2000. It is a statistical analysis of franchise and business opportunity complaints and law enforcement activities. The report’s Appendix includes additional information regarding several metrics, including tables of raw numbers.
