- Here is the press release from the Department of Justice.
We all know Mr. Snowden as the former owner of Java Jo'z, which sold its assets to Morg Morgan and Medina Holdings (Cuppy's Coffee's parent company) in May of 2006, and allegedly left multiple Java Jo'z licensee wondering what happened to their $30,000 deposit that they were told was refundable if a suitable location wasn't found.
Mr. Snowden has already paid the IRS $900,000 of the $1.16 million in restitution they are owed.
- Franchise topic:

I worked for Roy "P" Snowden in 1999 when I was 17 years old. They found me in Vermont and shipped me off to NYC - What a blast - What a sham!!!!!!!! I hung around for a month and ended up in Minneapolis, MN. It was easy enough to write business, but slave workers they were. John and James "himey" and some other big guy and Roy and his the bull that he spewed in the sales meetings / brainwash sessions. I had them drop me off at the Greyhound station when I realized I wouldn't be allowed to hold my earnings - I never jot paid a cent - just $15.00 daily draws that were supposed to cover my daily expenses - mind you I sold between 5 and 10 subscriptions daily at $40 minimum.
Did anybody ever get their magazines????

If you go to the IRS web site www.IRS.gov you can report these folks your own self and, if your beliefs turn out to be true, the IRS wil pay you a % of what they recover.--

Do you think the IRS will pay out even though they have already convicted and incarcerated their man? If so, I got lots of people to report.

I always liked Roy, his wife was a little crazy but he was always on the up and up with me. As for his crony Mark he was just a little punk wearing big boy clothes. It amazes me how many people come out to bash the man after a little tax evasion. I don't like paying taxes either, I do but I don't like it. I'm sure that Roy had good intentions with his coffee
biz. and maybe it was his "partner" that was the infection in the animal. I'll say it again, Roy was always on the up and up in the two years of business dealings that I had with him. He owes me nothing and I him, except the experience that I gained while under his employ. Was it all b.s., maybe, but what is sales if not b.s.. You try and get someone to buy something they don't want and cant use and you succeed what does that make you? A good salesman!
Thank you Roy for giving me allot of life lessons that I still reflect on to this day!
