Siblings Talk About First Year in Franchising

MidWeek (a Hawaii publication) has a cover story this weekend about a brother and two sisters who quit their respective jobs and opened a Wahoo's Fish Taco franchise. Their restaurant is pictured on the left.

To give you a little background, the story says they went to Punahou. People living in Hawaii know that’s a private school in Honolulu which many consider to be the best school in the islands, although students and teachers from other excellent schools (alas, all private) may dispute that.

The article covers the siblings' challenging first year. Now the three say they’re innovating, expanding and having a great time. Incidentally, out of the 40 Wahoo sites, they are running the top unit in sales.
