The Social Media Revolution
Over three years ago, Blue MauMau (named after a Polynesian fish that gathers in large schools) created a social media platform for franchise and small business owners. Back then, almost no one in the industry, not even its reporters, knew what "social media" meant. They called us a "blog," thinking that was new fangled. But Blue MauMau and social media are more than "blogs." It's more than award-winning citizen journalism. It's more than Twitter, Facebook or Yahoo Instant Messaging. It's a whole different way to engage information, news, franchisors and associations.
Social media continues to gain momentum.
The above video explains how the revolution has taken hold. It is one of this week's top four viral videos on the Net.
